Thank you to our customers, beta testers, and everyone who provided feedback. Your ideas and bug reports continue to shape MouseMux. This latest release brings major new capabilities: custom Chrome and Firefox apps that turn your browser into a fully independent multi-seat workstation, cursor overlays with text labels, colored tags, and custom icons next to each user's cursor, a new runtime virtualization layer for broader app compatibility including UWP apps, GPU-accelerated cursor rendering via DirectComposition, and P2P screen sharing — zero setup, no server required. We also added new collaborative web apps (Multi Browser, Multi Edit), a redesigned updater, and many speed and stability improvements. A key direction for MouseMux is a growing library of dedicated apps built for specific use cases and user groups. While multiplex mode lets multiple users interact with any application, purpose-built apps are safer, more robust, and cleaner — they manage session isolation and input routing by design. Expect many more dedicated apps in 2026, alongside virtual KVM, multiplex mode V3, better gaming experience, input-output editor, and more.
Beta notice: This is a pre-release version under active development. While we test thoroughly, you may encounter occasional rough edges or unexpected behaviour. We appreciate your patience and welcome any feedback at [email protected].
