Real-time voting and polling app for classrooms, meetings, and group decisions.

What This Is

A voting app where multiple people can participate in polls and quizzes together. You create a question with several answer choices, people vote, and everyone sees the results update in real-time. You can make it anonymous if you want, or track who voted for what. There are three different visual themes to choose from depending on whether you’re using it with kids, in a classroom, or in a professional setting.

How It Works

When you set up a poll, you type in your question and add answer choices. Each answer can have its own color or even a background image if you want to make it more visual. You can set a timer anywhere from 15 seconds to 10 minutes, and the app will beep at you when time is running out. Once you start the poll, everyone connected can click their answer and watch the vote bars grow as more people respond.

The app has a quiz mode too, so you can string together multiple questions and navigate through them. You can save entire quizzes and load them back later. Results can be exported as JSON files if you need them for record-keeping.

Getting Started

Launch the app from the MouseMux launcher and connect when prompted. Pick one of the three themes that fits your situation - Kids for playful stuff, Classroom for educational settings, or Professional for meetings and presentations. Type in your question, add some answers, set a timer if you want one, and hit start. Everyone votes by clicking their choice, and you can finish whenever you’re ready or let the timer end it automatically.
